RenegAID Board of Directors and Associates

Bjorn Stime

Bjorn Stime was raised in a family of six children in a village in central Quebec, Canada.  His parents worked as Bible translators/linguists, and are still involved in current Indigenous issues in Canada.  His nomadic and cross-cultural upbringing allowed him to feel at home in the world.  He has spent time in Costa Rica, New Zealand, Cote d'Ivoire, Liberia, and El Salvador.

These experiences involved assessing what the pressing needs are and doing such things as basic computer training, youth work and helping at an orphanage.

Bjorn is an FAA certified aircraft mechanic, and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Water Ecosystems and Environments from McGill University.  He is hoping to eventually serve in a medical capacity in underserved parts of the world.  Bjorn spent a month on the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina, as an independent volunteer assisting with the relief effort.

Bjorn is one of RenegAID's Incorporating Board members and is currently serving as a project developer on the Board of Directors.
